Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information JH MEDIA collects, how we use it, and the choices you have — with specific detail on mobile phone numbers and text messaging.

Who we are
JH MEDIA is a marketing and automation agency operated by Justin Hurtado, a sole proprietor based in California. We build lead-capture, follow-up, and review systems for local service businesses. In this policy, "we," "us," and "JH MEDIA" refer to that business, and "you" refers to anyone who visits this site or contacts us.
Information we collect
We only collect what we need to answer you and run our services:
- Contact details you give us. When you message us through our chat widget or by email, we receive the information you choose to share — typically your name, your phone number, and the content of your message.
- Mobile phone number. If you text us or start a chat that continues over SMS, we collect and store your mobile number so we can reply and continue the conversation.
- Basic technical data. Like most websites, our host may log standard information such as your browser type, device, and approximate region for security and performance. We do not use this to identify you personally.
We do not sell your information, and we do not run advertising trackers that share your identity with data brokers.
How we use your information
- To reply to your questions and continue conversations you start with us.
- To send follow-up messages about a project or quote you asked about, if you have opted in to receive them.
- To provide customer care and support related to work we do for you.
- To keep the site secure and working properly.
Mobile information and text messaging
Text messaging is opt-in only. You choose to start a conversation with us; we never add you to messaging without your consent. You can stop at any time by replying STOP, and you can reply HELP for help. Our SMS Terms describe the messaging program in full.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
How we share information
We share information only as needed to operate, and never to sell it:
- Service providers. We use trusted providers to run our systems — for example, our CRM and messaging platform (GoHighLevel), our email provider, and our website host. They process data on our behalf under their own agreements and only to deliver the service.
- Legal reasons. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
As stated above, text messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with third parties for their own marketing.
Data retention
We keep your information only as long as we need it to answer you, provide our services, and meet legal or record-keeping obligations. When it is no longer needed, we delete it or remove details that identify you.
Your choices
- Stop texts. Reply STOP to any message to opt out at any time.
- Get help. Reply HELP, or email us at jhmediaorg@gmail.com.
- Access or delete your data. Email us and we will help you review or delete the information we hold about you.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information and work with reputable providers that maintain their own security safeguards. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to keep your data protected.
Children's privacy
This site and our services are intended for business owners and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "last updated" date above. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
